 Description   

The write concert of "w" is unclear. You did not mention whether the write is persisted to memory or to the disk. You only said to the Mongod instance.

So when w=1, yes the app will wait for server response before continue. But does the server response after it is written to memory, or to the disk when w=1? Please clarify. Thanks
