| Description |

Specifically, the AWS Ecosystem docs. These docs reference MongoDB 2.4 and do not follow our production notes for the platform. However it appears the other need updating as well. |

We have more prod use cases on AWS. An update to this documentation would greatly help following best practices. In particular, we had a case where user followed the outdated doc and set disk type as EXT4 instead of XFS. This had caused WiredTiger to perform erradically. Remedy took a lot of man hours and performance degradation. |
