ravind.kumar, putting something in the release notes sounds right to me. The only other thing we may want to do is add some mention of path-level multikey tracking in our generate "Multikey Indexes" page: https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/core/index-multikey/. I'd be happy to review any proposed additions. |

david.storch, I think I've got a generally good idea of what this implies as far as the performance increases in 3.4. That said, I'm unsure where we would want to highlight this to the user, if at all, except possibly in the release notes specifying that this improvement has been made with some examples. |
