When looking at the documentation for removing a monitoring agent, it states to remove the agent and wait 24h. On the other hand, in Cloud Manager, under the agents > Download & Settings, it states "After stopping an Agent it can take up to 5 minutes to take effect.": I think we should align the two as it makes some of our customers confused.
