why is there no install instructions for installing the java driver for mongo db as well as the required packages for JDK |

Hello, The instructions can be found on the Java Driver page, which can be accessed through the left navigation bar. That page includes a link to the java driver page where more specific instructions can be located. We are working on more specific documentation regarding the proper JDK - in general, you can use any JDK from 6 to the most recently published. If you run into any issues, please post them to the MongoDB Google Group |
