 Description

For atlasAdmin we should discuss what roles they inherit. Specifically "backup, clusterMonitor, dbAdminAnyDatabase, enableSharding, readWriteAnyDatabase"

kay.kim peter.gravelle Can we put a date on revisiting this topic? I'm leaning towards not explicitly stating what roles each user has

Ah! Cool. Good to hear. Let us know, though, if anything else pops.

Actually I do see it now on page https://docs.atlas.mongodb.com/setup-cluster-security/:
> Select Atlas admin, which provides all the roles for a MongoDB admin user for the Atlas group’s clusters.

admin@mixmax.com Let us know where the docs got confusing, and we'll work on fixing that. Was it the information in step 2?
