 Description

Atlas will have a new "Peering" functionality that lets customers connect their Atlas AWS VPCs on which their MongoDB clusters run with their "customer-owned," non-Atlas, AWS VPCs, provided their VPCs are in the same region as the Atlas VPC.

This allows their application servers to access their MongoDB Atlas clusters without having to go over the public internet.

We need to document the concept of peered connections and the new steps for requesting peered connections.
