Under the Kernel and File Systems section of the Production Notes, MongoDB mentions a variety of different kernel versions. In the first paragraph, the recommendation is for Linux kernel 2.6.36 or later. However, in the bullets farther down, three older versions of the Linux kernel are also mentioned as recommendations for varying reasons. The distinction between the recommendation in the first paragraph and the recommendations in the bullets is not clear. Could the docs be more explicit about the 2.6.36 recommendation? |
