 Description

I am attempting to install MongoDB on my Ubuntu 14.04 LTS server.

When I enter the command:

echo "deb http://repo.mongodb.org/apt/ubuntu trusty/mongodb-org/3.4 multiverse" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mongodb-org-3.4.list

then run

sudo apt-get update

I get the following error message:

Ign http://in.archive.ubuntu.com trusty/restricted Translation-en_CA
W: Failed to fetch http://repo.mongodb.org/apt/ubuntu/dists/trusty/mongodb-org/3.4/Release Unable to find expected entry 'multiverse/binary-i386/Packages' in Release file (Wrong sources.list entry or malformed file)

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I searched for a solution, but found nothing that resolves this error. Please advise.

Thank you!

The warning is harmless, but there is a documentation fix pending.
