 Description

Spoke with Scott about this, they are out of sync and having it in two places is bad. We should unify.

I'm going to mark this issue resolved (and assigned to me) pending the new documentation release and close it then.

Having said that, We might need to reopen and readdress this at some point in the future.

Regarding changes to options/params making it into the release notes, I think that currently is or will be the case in the future. Should I close this out or leave it open sam?

Something like the List of Database Commands page might make sense (i.e. http://www.mongodb.org/display/DOCS/List+of+Database+Commands)

The new docs have a complete list of the options that are in the docs/ repository. Can we ensure that changes to options/parameters make it into release notes (or similar change log, something automated seems fine) so that I can update the documentation accordingly?

We should be able to automate a portion of this so at least the options are listed.

The new docs have a draft of both config and command line parameters, and it is up to date for MongoDB 2.0.2 though I think the synchronization and maintenance issue will be an ongoing concern.
