The 3.2 upgrade instructions should link to 3.2 Linux installation instructions instead of latest stable Linux installation instructions. I'm upgrading a personal standalone mongod from 3.0.14 to 3.4.2. The 3.4 upgrade instructions say I have to upgrade to 3.2 first, which makes sense. That page links to the 3.2 upgrade instructions which say if I used a package manager, I should upgrade using the package manager. That also makes sense. If I follow the link though and use the latest stable, I'll jump straight to 3.4, instead of doing 3.2 first as the 3.4 upgrade instructions say. I believe the 3.4 upgrade instructions should also link to 3.4 Linux installation instructions instead of the latest stable Linux installation instructions, or we'll have the same problem with 3.6. |
