 Description

In the yaml file that builds the Getting Started guide (docs-primer), there is a version field that is used to fill in various places with the current MongoDB version (for example, on the tarball installation page, to form the correct filename to download the latest version). This version field has not been updated since version 3.0.4, and is now sorely out of date.
We need to implement a procedure to automatically (or manually) update this field whenever we have a new major or minor release of MongoDB. Alternatively, we need to remove all uses of this field throughout docs-primer.

Perhaps the most unfortunate exposure of this bug is within the title of all pages within the site – each title includes this version field. This title is indexed by Google and is displayed prominently in any search hits that come from the Getting Started guide.

I believe this remains a problem.
