*Background:* Backup only supports encrypting HEADs for MongoD versions >= 3.3.12 (MongoDB 3.4). The reason is that Backup would need programmatic access to certain information such as the encryption master key UUID which isn't available in 3.2. Issues The following documents mention that encrypted backups are available since MongoDB 3.2. However, this should be changed to 3.4.
