 Description

Summary

DRIVERS-1653 added tests to ensure security-sensitive commands were redacted. DRIVERS-1816 added tests to ensure replies of security-sensitive commands were redacted. We should test that failures of security-sensitive commands are also redacted.

Motivation

Who is the affected end user?

Users with APM using security-sensitive commands (most users of APM).

How does this affect the end user?

Potential leak of security-sensitive information.

How likely is it that this problem or use case will occur?

Unclear, that's why we need tests.

If the problem does occur, what are the consequences and how severe are they?

Leaks of security-sensitive information can be quite serious.

Is this issue urgent?

Somewhat; we want to ensure drivers are redacting failures here.

Is this ticket required by a downstream team?

No,

Is this ticket only for tests?

Yes.
