I was surprised to discover that the v1.0 Perl driver fails a test when run against a single-node replica set. (It had one replica set test that assumes a secondary exists.) Since apparently Cloud Manager recommends single-member replica set configuration for people who want a single node plus backup, we should prevent future surprises for us or our customers by ensuring that all drivers can pass tests against that configuration. |
