 Description
Epic Summary

Summary

Now that the MongoDB Mobile stack – MongoDB Embedded (which includes the Mobile SE) and the Mongo Mobile/Embedded {C,Java,Swift} Drivers – is GA, we want to make various improvements and additions within the time boxed 4.2 development window that remains.

Motivation

We want to improve the base product to better achieve our high level goals – providing a full featured yet lightweight and efficient embedded MongoDB database for Mobile and IoT applications. And specifically, we want to better support IoT use cases as this has always been in high demand and was an intended use of the MongoDB Mobile product, yet there are a number of distinct differences in the IoT space as compared to Mobile.
