| Description |

The cyrus-sasl library is supported by RHEL/CentOS/Amazon Linux. The GNU SASL library (libgsasl) is not (it's in EPEL, a Fedora project that is not covered by RHEL support contracts). Enterprise customers care a lot about this. This only matters for drivers that rely on a C library other than cyrus-sasl (or mit-krb5 directly for kerberos). |
