I want to create a capped collection, but I don't see any function for that. I guess I could use "Database.RunCommand()"... |

Thanks @Divjot Arora! The other major issue I found with upgrading a large project was this issue https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/GODRIVER-1548 if you have time to discuss that'd be awesome. I'm open to doing a PR for that too. I don't know the run commands as well for this though or your preferred api yet. |

Thank you for the feedback regarding moving from globalsign/mgo. I've moved this ticket back into "Needs Triage" so we can re-discuss this as a team on Monday. We'll post a comment here with a decision at that time. – Divjot |

Why was this closed? Are there not plans to make this easier in the official driver? Upgrading from globalsign/mgo and several things like this are just flat out much less user friendly. Could this at least be added to the documentation? |

Hi Pierre,
Yup! We do not have a create collection function. You can use db.RunCommand(...) to accomplish this.
Thanks Emmanuel |
