We hired a projectmanager, to build a MVP for us. We were told all his staff were in Ontario, however it seems this is not the case. After close to a year of development and $14,000CDN, we believe this person has hired offshore talent, and spent the money we gave him. Unfortunately the product is not finished and we are stuck with a non functioning piece of software. we hired a consultant to map the existing architecture, and unfortunately I believe the database has been disabled. mongodb://partner:UPp51X7Y@159.203.10.195:29029/partner We have already paid for the product, and they want more money to hand over things (we can product invoices and receipts). Is there anyway we can "turn on" the database or reactivate the account so we can finish mapping our product. |

I'm sorry you've had such a bad experience with your contractor. Unfortunately, there's nothing we're able to do to help; you'll need to work it out with them. If you're able to get them to provide you a dump of the database, (e.g. via the "mongodump" tool), a support team can work with you to get it up and running in our Cloud Database product, Atlas. That would let you "own" the database and only provide contractors with access needed to work on it rather than leaving your entire database in the hands of a contractor. Regards, |
