In the Python team we have been using pre-commit for over a year and it has aided in our local development. pre-commit works by installing a git hook that runs checks on changed files. For the go team, we could consider using many of the built-in checks, including check-yaml, as well as golang specific hooks like https://github.com/TekWizely/pre-commit-golang. |
