 Description   

The hook would provide a simple place for gathering metrics for response times on all MongoDB operations. It should provide data such as database, collection, and operation name as well as the time spent executing the operation.

This looks like it'll work for us. It's a lot more robust than our implementation. I'll go ahead and close out the PR. Thanks for the quick response!
