 Description

When the driver executes a bulk insert via one of the DBCollection.insert method and all of the following hold true:

  • The continueOnError flag is set to true
  • MongoDB <= 2.4
  • The write concern is unacknowledged
  • The total size of the documents exceeds the maximum message size for an OP_INSERT (48 MB)

then the continueOnError flag is incorrectly ignored and treated the same as if continueOnError is false.
