 Description

Hi Guys,

I found in documentation for 3.2 version new amazing feature $filter(aggregation) which significant improve performance of array filtering. Unfortunately, I couldn't found java API for this feature usage.

Could you provide details when this feature will come to java driver? Also I will grateful if you provide some workaround how to use this feature with current driver.

Thanks a lot!

The driver currently provides typed builders only for aggregation stages and accumulators, but not the full expression language, which $filter is a part of. JAVA-1949 is the ticket you should vote for if you'd like to see that.

@Jeff Yemin,

Thanks, I'm seeing. I'll make my own builder, but anyway are you planning implement this method?

This type of question if better handled in the MongoDB user forum, where I see you already started this thread.
