Is there any possibility of specifying the socket factory, so when opening connections to db server a custom socket factory will be used? |

This was actually done a while back and we neglected to close this issue. You can see the commit here: https://github.com/mongodb/mongo-java-driver/commit/ea4c085e3ec972c900eacd0bbed4de05d644f811 It's in the latest 2.6 and 2.7 releases. |
