I see scan feature available for various no sql databases. Couchbase: Does mongodb have a similar feature and corresponding support from Java client? |

Hi kp.sravan, Thanks for the ticket - just for future reference, the best place for questions regarding Java driver specifics is the mongodb-user mailinglist or stackoverflow as you will reach a boarder audience there. This project is really for driver bugs or feature requests. The java driver supports tailable cursors which can be used to return streams of data back from MongoDB. I recall a question regarding tailable cursors on the mongodb mailinglist. There are community mongodb kafka connectors: https://github.com/DataReply/kafka-connect-mongodb and http://debezium.io/docs/connectors/mongodb/ to name two. I personally don't have experience with them but it does show solutions are available. I hope that helps, Ross |
