While I see that it would be useful so that you could chain calls to the put method, it would be a backwards-breaking change. As such, we're going to have to reject this request. Also, in the new CRUD API we generally prefer usage of the org.bson.Document class (with which you can just use any List implementation. So we're no longer looking to enhance BasicDBObject/BasicDBList. |
