hi beakya884@gmail.com

Just checking whether you saw the question on my first comment. I'd like to understand your use case before we make any decisions.

Thanks,
Jeff

If we do this, we should also consider whether to allow application to configure the entire SSLParameters for the client, rather than just the cipher suites. The only disadvantage I can see to that is that there are some properties of SSLParameters that probably would not be appropriate to configure in the driver.

Hi beakya884@gmail.com

Thanks for opening this ticket and the PR as well.

My understanding is that cipher suites can be configured globally via the java.security.properties system property.

Can you explain what your use case is a bit more, as we've never before been asked for this level of configuration at the driver level.
