| Description |
|
It is suggested to deprecate and subsequently remove the unused SocketStreamFactory constructor that accepts the @Nullable final SocketFactory socketFactory parameter. This constructor is currently not utilized within the internal networking codebase and has limited user-facing use-cases. Deprecating this constructor in 4.11 and removing it in 5.0 will pave the way for easier addition of new features, refactoring, and enhancements in the internal design of the networking module. |
