 Description

No way to pass

{nolock: true}

to doEval(); user must construct a DBObject and pass to generic command interface.

Closing as Won't Fix:

  • MongoDatabase, introduced in 3.0, does not have an eval helper
  • The DB class which it replaced is effectively deprecated, and we are not planning on augmenting that class any further.
  • eval is not recommended so much any more, and we don't want to encourage its use.
