The BasicDBObjectBuilder's javadoc says it's a utility to build complex objects but as far as I can tell it doesn't have a very good support for lists. I wrote a few methods to help with that as well as some basic unit tests to go with it. It would be good if it gets added in your next version. |

The new CRUD API no longer used DBObject by default, preferring org.bson.Document instead, so we don't plan to put any more effort into improving the DBObject API. |
