| Description |
|
Currently, there is not a way to get the total number of document matches when issuing the "text" search command. For a variety of use cases, it would be incredibly useful to get total match count for a search term. You may want to be able to define a minimum score to be included in the count. |

Closing as a dup of The $text operator allows users to count the number of documents that match a particular text search predicate (for example, db.collection.find({$text: "hello world"}).count()). |
