Can't reproduce this with mongod 1.4.2 and mongo-1.4.jar, MacOSX SnowLeopard, Ubuntu Lucid x86_64. |

Preliminary status: haven't reproduced this with Java driver v1.4 and the tip of the server's v1.4 branch. WIll attach a test program. Waiting for word back from Aaron about what versions the user was having problems with. |
