Hi, If I am inserting a 500 documents as a batch. What if it fails and I get an exception when it is doing the 251st document? Will the 250 documents be inserted? If yes, how can I know how many documents the batch could insert? If no, then it is fine. We are happy to try the batch again. Please let me know |

The SERVER project is for reporting bugs or feature suggestions for the MongoDB server. For MongoDB-related support discussion please post on the mongodb-users group (http://groups.google.com/group/mongodb-user) or Stack Overflow / ServerFault. Please refer to the bulk insert documentation for the particular driver you are using, but if not using the continueOnError option, the batch operation should stop after the first error is encountered. Previous documents in the batch will have been inserted. |
