 Description

This feature is an alternative to both adaptive padding (which will try to estimate a possibly highly varying ratio), and power-of-two allocation (which may over-allocate space). The objective is to allow db admins to optimize space usage in the case where they have definite knowledge of exactly how document size can grow.

dup of SERVER-1810

Paul, is this not a dup of SERVER-1810? Do you want a fixed size padding or fixed size document allocation (including padding)?
