| Description |
|
Currently mongodb already has a simple read http interface: A full rest interface would allow faster development of thin client applications that need storage layer to be completely transparent without the need to maintain another layer on the application to manage the translation between mongodb and HTTP requests as the application servers that need to be maintained to support that layer. |

We are working in an improvement for this feature that does not necessarily require server work. |
