| Description |
|
Currently the only test suites that run in auth passthrough mode are aggregation, failpoints, js, mongosTest, replicasets, replication, and sharding. This will involve a combination of changes to the test framework as well as changes to the tests to avoid race conditions exposed by running the test in auth passthrough mode |

Great, then I think it'd be fine to close this ticket. |

There is a jsCore_auth. |

I think we have found issues back in the day, but probably not many recently. Is there no jsCore_auth? That would be the only other suite worth potentially doing in my mind |

I'm not sure we've found anything specific to the auth subsystem in the passthroughs recently. I'd be okay with accepting our repl, sharding, and agg passthroughs, and closing out this ticket. spencer, any objections? |

spencer, spencer.jackson, have the auth passthrough test suites actually found issues in or related to the auth subsystem? I wasn't sure how useful running our existing tests while auth'd as the __system user has actually been. |
