| Description |

Text indexes and geo indexes ignore the "sparse" option entirely. To reduce confusion, ensureIndex() should return an error if this option is included for a text/geo index build. |

This isn't as easy as it sounds due to upgrade/downgrade concerns. We have to figure out what to do if such an index already exists in the catalog. |
