Please take a look at the following discussion: http://groups.google.com/group/mongodb-user/browse_thread/thread/45f302d72209e14d The insert method doesn't throw an exception or error when the insert goes wrong (in the case of a duplicate key for example). The insert method should support exceptions and/or safe mode. |

The new C++ driver supports safe mode. |

Please do not forget about find and runCommand. They may return errors too. |
