We're now cross-compiling 32-bit binaries and the target is i386 instead of i686. The inner directory name now already contains i386 but we should adjust the tarball name as well and account for that in packaging scripts.

I just made the MCI change to make linux-32 builds use the new scons option. If the build succeeds, then this will be done.

I think you're right. This doesn't need testing. I may have selected that value accidentally. If I come up with a reason it should be verified/tested I'll add a comment with explanation.
