We have $add, $subtract, and other operators which can be used a $project operation, so it makes sense to add other basic operators, such as $max, $min, and $avg. I would expect each of these to take an array. Yes, these could be constructed with existing operators, but it becomes tedious. In particular, the n-variable max case. |
