Agreed. This would be handy. I ported the rs.add logic to Ruby so I could use it in a Chef cookbook. |

It seems like rs.add() works great for this (and is more trivial for people than running replSetAdd) so... maybe we don't need a specialized command? |

the problem is there might be a dozen helpers like this addArbiter etc. and the code is trivial so not totally sure. |
