| Description |
|
Currently, if cleanupOrphaned has a lot of work to do, no feedback is provided in the logfile to indicate this. Other long-running operations like index builds, clones, etc output progress feedback in the logfile while they run. So it would be good if the Deleter used by cleanupOrphaned also periodically logged its progress so far, such as number of index entries scanned, number of documents deleted, etc. |

After talking with kaloian.manassiev, because we're going to be replacing the old range deleter in the near future, this probably isn't worth the effort to improve. |

sam.dunietz, also assigning this to you since it's related to the range deleter to see if it would be reasonable to log the progress periodically. This will require some investigation and figuring out where it would make sense to log that info. |
