 Description

hi Team,

just unzip the mongodb-win32-X86_64-2008plus-2.6.4.zip, then execute the command mongod.exe, there is an error popup, could you please have a check.

the error message is below:
The procedure entry point TryAcquireSrWLockExclusive could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.

could you help to give a check for that? how to fix that?

What version of Windows are you running MongoDB on? MongoDB has two builds for Windows: a version that targets Windows 2008 R2 / Windows 7 or later, and a version that targets any version of Windows (called legacy).

It looks like you are running the 2008 R2+ version on an older operating system which is why you get an error message saying it cannot find a particular lock method in kernel32.dll.
