 Description

There was a long discussion on the google groups:

http://groups.google.com/group/mongodb-user/browse_thread/thread/0e9241b0b501cb47?hl=en#

Here is the code snippet with copy/paste top section and a result section with our output:

http://pastie.org/1163560

It seems like long numeric subkeys in a subdocument are doing weird things.

I think this is a duplicate of http://jira.mongodb.org/browse/SERVER-1347. Please comment if it's not fixed in the 1.7 branch.

Pingw33n in the google group thread suggested the length overflow idea. I'm guessing its more of a prefix matching issue.

This works fine: http://pastie.org/1163577

This does not: http://pastie.org/1163578

The only difference is the first character in the subkey.
