when using a replica pair with an arbiter, if the master machine goes down (not pingable) the slave does not becomes the master. When rebooting the machine with mongodb down, the election happens, the slave becomes the master. I know replica pairs are deprecated, we're in the process of moving to replica sets. Can this happend for replica sets too? |

No - replica sets handles this case correctly. |
