 Description

smoke.py uses "commands" as the default --writeMode to pass to the mongo shell, so specifying --shell-write-mode=commands to smoke.py is actually rerunning the same tests under the same conditions.

Note that this also affects the gle_auth_WT and gle_auth_write_cmd_WT tasks in the same way.

This was fixed on the master branch as part of the switch to resmoke.py (SERVER-1424) but remains an issue on the 3.0 branch.

Looks like it was changed from "legacy" to "commands" as part of 0dabee8227d445a18fa5e8e49b2be60ba2a0beef without a corresponding change to config_prod/branch/mongodb-mongo-master.yml in the MCI repo. I think etc/evergreen.yml should be changed to now to pass --shell-write-mode legacy for the gle_auth and gle_auth_WT tasks.
