As part of attempting to reproduce and resolve BF-802 I have been looking into the sharding suite of tests. I found that many of these tests use the same database and collection over a number of tests - test.foo My understanding is that we should always look to be using separate collections in these tests. |

The sharding suite tests are responsible for starting their own clusters, and so cannot be used in passthrough suites or conflict with other tests' collections. As such, they may safely reuse collection have. |
