We use a large number of collections and as such we've run into the namespace limits. I'd like to simply stop MongoDB, change the --nssize and restart without having to the repair the DB. In our situation, a repair takes an extremely long time (many hours). Bringing down the databases is not really a good option as that will give us rather large downtime. We do have a support contract (Silver). Thanks! |
