 Description

WiredTiger supports generating verbose logging, which will be sent to the MongoDB log. In current builds, that support is not enabled via scons.

Can we please turn on HAVE_VERBOSE in src/third_party/wiredtiger/SConscript, so we have the option of enabling verbose logging in the field to debug customer issues?

It is a partial dupe. There are other WT build config flags as well but I was also looking for verbose in particular.

andreas.nilsson@10gen.com - Is this a dup of SERVER-18413?

Finally got this to run in a stabilised manner.

Run was a random read-only workload over 57GB's of data.

Vanilla Run 1 Vanilla Run2 Verbose Run 1 Verbose Run 2

Doesn't look like there is much of a real difference here, so I think this should be fine to commit.

Also please check for performance regressions in a pure read-only workload.
