It would be nice if the available and "cache" memory counters were displayed as well. Right now I run "free -ltm" to get this info while running mongostat/serverStatus. This can also be used in munin to display more information about mongodb + system memory footprint over time. It would esp. important in a shared server env. where other processes are carving out chunks of mem away from the "cache". |
